Peanut Butter Cookie Pie Recipe

Hi guys! Today I've decided to mix things up a bit with a dessert recipe. This recipe is for a peanut butter cookie pie, and my friend Sky and I tried it out last night, and the result was awesome!

1/2 cup unsalted butter (one stick)
1 large egg
1 packed cup light brown sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup all-purpose flour
(optional) pinch of salt
Bag of mini peanut butter cups
Bag of M&Ms (regular or peanut butter filled) or Reece's Pieces 

Start off by preheating your oven to 350F and spraying your nine-inch pan or pie plate. Set that aside and grab a large microwave-safe bowl for your butter. Melt this in the microwave for one minute. After taking your butter out, add the egg, brown sugar, peanut butter, and vanilla. Whisk until smooth. 

Now, add your flour and salt and mix just until blended. Make sure not to over mix! We may have had a bit too much fun with the flour :)
Now transfer your batter to your pan or pie plate, smoothing the top with a spatula. Evenly space your peanut butter cups around the pie, putting as many as you'd like. Make sure to push down your Reece's cups until just the tops are peeking out. Now add tons of m&ms all around it!
Put your pie into the oven for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let it sit for about a half hour before slicing!

It's safe to say that this cooking adventure was a success. The best bites were definitely the peanut butter cups, so I'll have to overload on those next time!
