Favorite Holiday Movie

Christmas is looming closer and closer, and we've all been watching Christmas movies so many times that the soundtracks are on repeat in our heads. Today's #25DaysOfGlam topic is Favorite Christmas Movie, and I'm talking about my favorite, Elf!
For those of you that haven't seen this film (You monsters!), Elf is the story of an orphan infant that crawls into Santa's sack of toys one Christmas night while he's delivering presents and ends up in the North Pole. The elves take him in as one of their own, name him Buddy, and keep his true identity from him, but as he grows older, he realizes that he's different from the elves around him. He uncovers his true identity and goes to New York City to find his family, but what he doesn't expect is that his father isn't quite as receptive of him as he'd hoped. Throughout the movie, Buddy discovers love, family, and what the true meaning of Christmas spirit really is.

I love a good comedy, and Will Ferrell does an amazing job with Buddy's character, making him the most comedic Christmas figure ever. Watching him parade around New York acting like an elf is hysterical, and it always has me and my whole family rolling with laughter.
Aside from humor, Elf has some very touching moments. Watching Buddy falling in love, trying to connect with his father, and befriending his younger brother is beautiful to watch.

What's your favorite Christmas movie? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I finally watched it for the first time, it was a fun movie. It was great to see Zoeey sing! I'm so used to her as a brunette but she looks pretty as a blonde :)

  2. Watch Bollywood PK (2014) fullmovie online

  3. Many regional and foreign films have inspired some of the most successful bigger movies with liam neeson. But more often the remake pales in comparison to the original.
